Nomination Fee $225.00
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for the Jumper Division horses must be nominated and the nominating fee of $225 paid by the closing date of entries. Horses nominated after that date must pay a nominating fee of $350. Once a horse is nominated, he becomes eligible to compete in the following sections: Jumper 1.50m, 1.45m, 1.40m, Amateur-Owner Jumper, Adult Amateur Jumper, Junior Jumper and all special classes held in the Jumper Division, if otherwise eligible.
RECORDING: Horses entered in any U.S. Equestrian recognized jumper section must be recorded with the U.S. Equestrian in accordance with Rule XXVII, Chapter 1, Articles 2702.9.13 except where prohibited by law.
TIES: Horses tied for other than first place will be placed based on their time in the first round, unless otherwise stated.
COURSES: May consist of any combination of the following: brush, gates, oxers, planks and rails, water, liverpool, ditch, wall, and panels.
DECLARATIONS: Horses must be declared for their class no later than 5:00 PM the day before the class is to be held, except where otherwise stated.
STARTING ORDER: Starting orders will be produced in accordance with U.S. Equestrian Rule XXIV, Article 2444 and U.S. Equestrian Rule XXVII, Article 2713.
OPEN JUMPER
SECTION
Open to all jumpers. A Horse that is no longer eligible to compete as an Intermediate Jumper. However, any horse, regardless of money won, is eligible to compete in this section. A horse that has attained the classification of Open Jumper, and wins less than $5,000 in a subsequent year may drop back to the Intermediate section until it wins a total of $5,000, including the winnings of the previous year.

The Hidden Creek's $25,000 Challenge is a new challenge awarding $25,000 to the horse and rider who wins both the Budweiser Grandprix of Lake Placid and the Hermès I Love New York Grandprix in the same year.
The same horse rider must win both grand prix. The award presentation will take place following the Hermès I Love New York Grandprix on
Saturday, July 9, 2005.
The Richard and Diana Feldman Perpetual Challenge Trophy for Excellence and $2,000 will be awarded to
the rider who competes in both Grand Prix events and acquires the
most combined prize money.
If a rider rides more than one horse in a single event, only the prize money on their top placed horse will count.

Horses nominated for the Jumper Division may enter and compete, if otherwise eligible, in any one of two (2) competitions (Section A or B) or special class offered on a single day.

Horses competing in a Schooling Jumper class may compete in any other jumper class for which they are eligible on the same day and must be declared no later than 5:00 PM the day before the class is to be held.
