I Love New York Horse Show

Placid, NY—July 9,
2006—The closing day of the 29th annual I Love New York Horse Show in Lake Placid saw Jumper Classics held
for Adult Amateurs, Low Juniors, Low Amateur-Owners and two divisions of
Children’s.
Winning the Classics were Joelle Savino on Recruut K in The
Whiteface Lodge WIHS Adult Amateur
Jumper Classic; Brianne Goutal on Mon Gamin in The Levy
Family Low Junior Jumper Classic;
Katrina Woods on Susdal in the Y106.3 Low
Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic; Allyson Blais on Phyllis in the Price Chopper
WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic for riders age 15-17; and Mattias Tromp on
Amelia in the Price Chopper WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic for riders age
14 & under.
The full day of Classic brought a close to show jumping’s
annual two-week stay in the Adirondacks.
More than 1200 horses competed in the Lake Placid and I Love New York Horse Shows and the thousands of
spectators who attended were treated to the best the sport of show jumping has
to offer. The highlight of this year’s shows were the back-to-back
wins by Jeffery Welles on Armani in the $60,000 Budweiser Grandprix of Lake Placid CSI 3* Presented by RV Sales of Broward
and the $60,000 Hermès Grandprix CSI 3* Presented by the Heidegger
Family.
